The main monument of Gorizia is Castello Borgo, which formed the original city center. Inside the castle you will find two museums, one of which is the Great War Museum - the Museo della Grande Guerra and the other one is focused on fashion and applied art - the Museo della Moda and the Arti Applicate. The old town is dominated by the temple of Sant'Ignazio and the local synagogue features an exhibition on Jewish presence in Gorizia.
