Bolzano (Italy)

Set in the Middle Ages, Bolzano hides many beautiful sights, including the Gothic Cathedral, the Dominican Church of Chiesa dei Domenicani and the Franciscan Church of Chiesa dei Francescani. The highlight of the Museo Archeologico dell 'Alto Adige is the "ice man" - Ötzi. Another local museum is dedicated to the flora, fauna and geology of the Museo di Scienze Naturali dell'Alto Adige. The 20 km long cycle path connects Castel Mareccio and Castel Roncolo, including another Castel Firmiano and the Messner Mountain Museum. Skiers and hikers are transported to the mountains by 3 Bolzano cable cars.
