Island Pag (Croatia)

The development of roads, especially good asphalt roads from the ferry in Žigljen across the island to the east to the Pag bridge to the mainland, was crucial for the island's involvement in tourism. The island of Pag is a destination for tourists who prefer a simpler and cheaper stay on the Adriatic, calm and clear sea and do not look for too noisy social entertainment and intense nightlife. The main resorts are Pag and Novalje. In many places is very nice swimming - famous are sandy and pebble beaches on the coast of the Bay of Pag.
