Plitvice Lakes National Park (Croatia)

Plitvice Lakes are the most famous national park in Croatia. Karst lakes are terraced and connected by flows. There are 140 waterfalls, 20 caves and springs. The park is visited annually by 200,000 tourists. Entry to the National Park is paid, with hiking trails and bridges running on both sides of the canyon and below the waterfalls. Many of us remember the famous scenes from Vinnetou's films that were filmed here.
