Sardinie (Italy)

There was a peculiar nuragic civilization on the island in antiquity. The first colonists were the Foinicans and the Carthaginians, and several Greek settlements were established on the coast. In 238 BC the Romans seized the island and replaced it in 456 AD. Germanic Vandals. In 533 the Byzantines landed here. In the 8th century the island came under the Arabs. [1] In the years to come, the strategically important island changed government. From 1297 to 1861 there was the Kingdom of Sardinia, which in 1861 turned into Italian.
