Veliki Tabor Castle (Croatia)
The oldest part of Veliki Tabor Castle dates back to the 12th century. In the 15th century during the reign of Matthias Corvinus I was a royal property, which confirms its impressive appearance. Around the castle were built walls with four semicircular bastions. Unfortunately, they have not been preserved, but at the time of their creation made the castle a dreaded fortress. Today it serves as a museum and a popular destination for tourists.
