Zámek Vranov nad Dyjí (Czechia)

The oldest parts of the castle come from the border castle from the 11th century. In 1680, Vranov fell for the second time to the Althans, a family from Bavaria. Count Michael Johann II. von Althan began the Baroque reconstruction. Here we can find the castle chapel and the oval hall of the ancestors, which was completed in 1695 and stands on the top of the hill as a separate building.
