Val di Fassa (Italy)
The Val di Fassa valley is framed by the S peaks of Gruppo della Sella, on the W by the Catinaccio mountain (Rosengarten 2981m) and on the SE by the Marmolada (3342m). The local population has adapted to the waves of summer and winter tourism, but some residents feed on traditional dairy.

Val di Fiemme (Italy)
Pale di San Martino, a group of Dolomite mountains surrounded by the Parco Naturale Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Natural Park. At the bottom of the park is the ski and tourist resort of San Martino di Castrozza, and even lower in Val di Fiemme you will find the second major resort of Cermis. Both cities are part of the vast Superski Dolomiti area.
